My all time favorite quiche, I always make this for brunch when my family comes to visit. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup cream |
4 eggs |
ham steak (pre-cooked & cubed) |
1 bunch of asparagus |
1 c gruyère cheese |
salt & pepper |
pinch of nutmeg |
9 in pie crust |
Directions:
1. Pre-Heat Oven to 375° 2. Cook asparagus till firm. 3. Dice pre-cooked ham and put both in the bottom of frozen pie crust. 4. Cover with the shredded cheese. 5. Combine eggs, cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg. 6. Pour into pie pan and cook 50 minutes until eggs are set. 7. Cover the edges with aluminum foil if they start to burn. |
