Puttanesca Sauce for Garlic Lovers |

This is a quick, bold, in your face puttanesca sauce. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons olive oil |
6 large garlic, crushed and chopped |
28 ounces tomatoes, undrained |
12 greek olives, pitted & chopped (use a good quality of olive) |
2 -4 tablespoons capers, drained and chopped |
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. heat olive oil in a large sauce pan and add garlic. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes or until cooked. 2. Add tomatoes and liquid and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes or until heated thoroughly. |
