Very tastey pumpkin bread perfect for a dessert or a snack during the fall and thanksgiving. Ingredients:
1 2/3 cup whole wheat flour |
1 cup splenda |
1 tsp baking soda |
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 cup pumpkin |
2 eggs |
1/3 cup water |
1/4 cup applesauce |
1/2 cup walnuts |
Directions:
1. In a bowl combine 1 cup whole wheat flour, splenda, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. 2. In a separate bowl combine the pumpkin, eggs, water, and applesauce. 3. Stir pumpkin mix into the dry ingredients. Add the walnuts. 4. Pour into a large loaf pan that is sprayed. Bake at 350 for 60-65 minutes. Cool for at least 15 minutes before taking the loaf out of the pan. 5. Cut into 16 slices. |
