pumpkin waffles |
2 1/2 c flour |
2 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp ginger |
1/2 tsp nutmeg |
1/4 tsp cloves |
1/2 tsp soda |
1 tsp powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 c unsalted butter, melted |
(salted butter may be used) |
4 eggs |
2 c buttermilk |
1 c pumpkin |
1/2 c drk brown sugar |
1 tsp vanilla |
Directions:
1. Sift together dry ingredients 2. Blend “wet” ingredients, mix in dry ingredients until completely blended 3. Bake in lightly sprayed waffle iron about 5 to 7 minutes or until steam stops or indicator light changes 4. Serve with syrup, whipped cream or ice cream (yes, for breakfast.....it's a dairy item, right?) |
