Delicious! I love this time of year when I can bake Pumpkin Scones. Ingredients:
2 c flour |
1 tbsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
1/2 tsp ginger |
1/2 tsp allspice |
1/2 tsp nutmeg |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/2 c butter |
3 tbsp brown sugar |
1 c pumpkin |
1/4 c yogurt |
2 tbsp sour milk |
Directions:
1. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices and salt. 2. Cream butter and sugar, beat in pumpkin, yogurt and milk. Blend in dry ingredients. Do not overwork the batter. 3. Pat together into a round of dough on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper and mark 8 wedges into the top of the dough. 4. Bake at 350 deg for 12 to 15 minutes. |
