My aunt gave me this recipe. Ingredients:
15 ounces canned pumpkin |
3 eggs |
2 cups buttermilk |
3 tablespoons melted butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Mix the first 4 ingredients together in a medium bowl. 3. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. 4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and whisk together. 5. Pour into a greased 2 1/2 quart souffle dish. 6. Bake for about 1 hour, or until slightly browned. 7. May serve with caramel sauce. |
