My aunt gave me this recipe.
Ingredients:
15 ounces canned pumpkin
3 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Mix the first 4 ingredients together in a medium bowl.
3. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and whisk together.
5. Pour into a greased 2 1/2 quart souffle dish.
6. Bake for about 1 hour, or until slightly browned.
7. May serve with caramel sauce.
