PUMPKIN PIE WONTONS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Lowe Estate in Heath, Texas in 1987. Ingredients:
1 cup canned pumpkin |
2 tablespoons maple syrup |
3 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice |
16 packaged wonton wrappers |
cinnamon and sugar for dusting |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Mix pumpkin, maple syrup, brown sugar and pumpkin pie space in medium bowl. 3. Place wonton wrapper on flat surface and spoon 1 tablespoon filling into center. 4. Moisten edges of wonton with water and fold in half to form a triangle then press edges to seal. 5. Repeat with remaining wontons then arrange prepared wontons on baking sheet. 6. Lightly coat wontons with nonstick cooking spray and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. 7. Bake 15 minutes then turn over and bake another 2 minutes. |
