Grandma's recipe found in a box. Lighter on spice than a lot of the others I'd found. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/8 teaspoon clove |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 large eggs |
1 3/4 cups pumpkin (15 oz can) |
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg,cloves and salt. 2. In a seperate bowl lightly beat the eggs 3. stir in the pumpkin and the sugar/spice mixture mixing well. 4. gradually add the evaporated milk. 5. pour into pie shell and bake at 350 for 40 to 50 minutes. |
