PUMPKIN PIE CAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Boomer Estate in Garland, Texas in 1984. Ingredients:
30 ounce can pumpkin pie mix |
4 eggs |
12 ounce can evaporated milk |
1 yellow cake mix |
1 cup butter melted |
1 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Mix pumpkin pie mix, eggs and milk together and pour in a rectangular pan. 2. Sprinkle cake mix over pumpkin mixture then drizzle butter over cake and sprinkle with nuts. 3. Bake at 350 for 1 hour then served with whipped cream. |
