Ingredients:
1 cup(s) pumpkin |
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon(s) ginger |
1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon(s) allspice |
2 eggs |
1 1/4 cup(s) milk |
Directions:
1. Mix pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices thoroughly. Add eggs and milk. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake in hot oven (450 degrees) about 10 minutes, then reduce heat to moderate (325 degrees) for about 35-40 minutes or until filling is firm and knife comes out clean. Serve warm or cold, plain or with sweetened whipped cream |
