This pie recipe is excellent. I think the honey in the recipe is what makes it delicious. You may want to make 2 pies out of the ingredients if you have small pie plates. Otherwise the timing may vary. Ingredients:
1/3 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
3/4 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
2 cups pumpkin |
1/4 cup honey |
1 cup evaporated milk |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and put in unbaked pie crust. 2. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes then turn down oven and bake at 3. 325 degrees for 35 minutes or until center is no longer runny. |
