Traditonal recipe. A must-have at Thanksgiving dinner. Ingredients:
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
1 1/2 cups pumpkin |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon clove |
1 2/3 cups evaporated milk or 1 2/3 cups light cream |
1 pie shell |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2. Mix in order given. Pour in pastry shell. 3. Bake for 15 minutes. Lower temperature to 350 degrees for 45 minutes more (or until done). |
