Pumpkin Pecan Muffins

This is a great recipe to have at home or to share. Great for this time of year!
Ingredients:
4 cups all purpose flour, sifted
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ground nutmeg (i use fresh grated)
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground allspice
1 tsp ground ginger
4 eggs
2/3 cup melted butter
2/3 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp molasses
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups sugar
2 cups pumpkin puree or canned pumpkin
1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease muffin pans or line with paper jackets.
2. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, allspice and ginger.
3. In a large bown beat eggs. mix in melted butter, buttermilk, molasses, vanilla, sugar and pumpkin.
4. Add dry ingredients and mix until wet. Do not overmix.
5. Add Pecans and mix until distributed thoughout batter.
6. Scoop batter into muffin tins.
7. Optional: you can top with more chopped pecans
8. Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
