I love pumpkin bread, it's so good! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 cup canned pumpkin |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/2 cup water |
2 eggs |
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. 2. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, spices and baking powder; gradually add to pumpkin mixture and mix well. 3. Fold in pecans. 4. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. 5. Bake at 350 for 70-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. 6. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from loaf pan to a wire rack to cool. |
