Pumpkin day at the newspaper from several years ago. Ingredients:

1 package (18 1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix |
1 can (15 ounces) pure pumpkin |
3 large eggs |
2/3 cup orange juice |
2 to 4 tbsp.s poppy seeds |
glaze |
1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar |
2-3 tbsp orange juice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour 12 cup bundt pan. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pumpkin,eggs, and orange juice. Beat with electric mixer on low speed until moistened. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in poppyseeds until blended. 3. Pour into prepared bundt pan, spreading evenly. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan on rackfor 10 minutes. Remove cake to wire rack to cool completely. 4. In a bowl combine powdered sugar and orange juice. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake. |
