I love this because it uses a simple cake mix and some pumpkin. I added chocolate chips to the mix, and I also used a pumpkin pie mix instead of pumpkin. You could make Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins by using a Devil's Food Cake mix and a little milk or even throw in some nuts or peanut butter to mix it up. Recipe courtesy of Sweet Verbena Blogspot. 18 1/4 ounces yellow cake mix |
15 ounces pumpkin |
18 1/4 ounces devil's food cake mix |
15 ounces pumpkin |
1/4 cup milk |
chocolate chips |
peanut butter (in each cup) |
nuts |
Directions:
1. Combine the cake mix and pumpkin (you do not need eggs or oil or anything else) until well blended. 2. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes. |
