Bring your kids into the kitchen to help you make this delicious, autumn inspired recipe! Ingredients:
2 tsp. maple flavouring |
4 oz. cream cheese, softened |
2 t. packed brown sugar |
1 1/2 tsp. maple flavouring |
2 c. flour |
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1 tsp. cinnamon |
1/2 tsp. baking soda |
2 eggs |
1 1/4 c. canned pumpkin |
3/4 c. milk |
1 tsp. vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Beat cream cheese, brown sugar and maple flavouring in a bowl until smooth and creamy. 3. Combine dry ingredients thoroughly. 4. Separately mix remaining ingredients until well blended. 5. Add to flour mixture until just blended. 6. Divide 3/4 of the batter amongst 12 greased muffin cups. 7. Drop 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling into center of each cup, pressing down slightly into batter. 8. Top with remaining batter. 9. Bake for 20-25 minutes. |
