6 cloves garlic minced |
1/4 cup fresh cilantro or parsaley |
1, 19 0z can chickepweas drained and rinsed |
1/4 cup sesame thahini |
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice |
1, 15 oz can pumpkin |
2 tsp cumin or to taste |
1 tsp salt or to taste |
1/4 tsp smoked paprika or plain parika |
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper |
1 to 2 tsp maple syrup or to taste |
pumpkin seeds for garnish |
Directions:
1. In food processor process garlic and herbs till finely minced 2. add chickpeas and process to finely puree 3. add remaining ingrdients except pumpkin seeds and process smooth. 4. if mixture is to thick, add a little water 5. Transfer mixture to a bowl and chill overnigfht for maximum flavor 6. Garnish with pumpkin seeds at serving |
