Got this off the net years ago from Schnepf Farm in Arizona.... Ingredients:
3 cups sugar |
1 cup milk |
3 tbls light corn syrup |
1/2 cup pumpkin puree |
1/4 tsp salt |
1 1/2 tsp vanilla |
1 stick butter |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional) |
Directions:
1. Butter 8 in. square pan. 2. In large saucepan, mix sugar, milk, corn syrup, pumpkin and salt Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly 3. Reduce heat to medium, add vanilla and butter, and continue boiling for 7 minutes 4. DO NOT STIR 5. Pour into pan 6. Push the nuts down into the top of the fudge with a spoon 7. Cool |
