Awesome. These are so different yet so good. I like to serve them with fish and/or ham. Great side and also great as an impressive appetizer. Ingredients:
2 eggs |
1-1/2 cups flour |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup milk |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon chopped hot pepper |
2 cups pumpkin cooked and crushed |
1 tablespoon melted butter |
Directions:
1. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. 2. Beat eggs until fluffy. 3. Add beaten eggs, hot pepper, melted butter and milk to dry ingredients and beat with a fork until nice and smooth. 4. Stir in crushed pumpkin then drop by spoonfuls into preheated deep 5. fat at 375 and fry for 5 minutes. 6. Serve hot. |
