This is great served with ice cream or cool whip. Ingredients:
bottom layer |
3/4 tsp. nutmeg |
3/4 /tsp. cloves |
3/4 tsp. cinnamon |
2 c. pumpkin pie filling |
14 oz. can condensed milk |
3 eggs |
top layer |
1 box yellow cake mix (may take 2-3 addn'l eggs, per instructions) |
1/2 cup butter/margarine |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350. 2. MIX BOTTOM LAYER INGREDIENTS TOGETHER. 3. LIGHTLY COAT 9X13 PAN W/ PAM, SPREAD ONTO BOTTOM OF 9X13 PAN. 4. PREPARE CAKE MIX ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS. SPREAD ON TOP OF PUMPKIN MIXTURE. 5. MELT BUTTER AND DRIZZLE ON TOP OF CAKE MIX 6. SPRINLKE WALNUTS ON TOP OF MIXTURE. 7. BAKE IN OVEN FOR 50-55 MINUTES. 8. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. |
