Pudding in a Pumpkin Chiffon Pie, a tastey Holiday Dessert. Ingredients:
1 3-oz pkg cream cheese; softened |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 cup cream; whipped |
1 9-inch ready made, deep, graham cracker pie crust |
1 cup cold milk |
1 5.1-oz pkgs instant vanilla pudding mix |
1 16-oz can pumpkin |
1 teaspoon fine ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon fine ground ginger |
1/4 teaspoon fine ground cloves |
1/2 cup cream; whipped |
1/4 cup pecans halves |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. 2. Fold in the whipped cream. 3. Spread the mixture evenly into the bottom of the ready made crust. 4. In another bowl, beat milk and pudding mix on low speed until combined. 5. Then beat on high for 2 minutes. 6. Let stand 3 minutes. 7. Stir in pumpkin and spices; mix well. 8. Spread over cream cheese layer. 9. Chill the pie to allow the pudding to set. 10. Garnish with more whipped cream and pecans. |
