1 cup plain flour |
1/3 cup packed golden brown sugar |
5 tablespoons softened butter |
1/2 cup walnuts or 1/2 cup pecans |
125 g pkt cream cheese, softened |
3/4 cup white sugar |
1/2 cup cooked pumpkin |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon allspice |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Combine flour & brown sugarin medium bowl. 2. cut in butter to make a crumb mixture. 3. stir in nuts. 4. Set aside 3/4 cup mixture for topping. 5. Press reamaining mixture into bottom of 8x8x1 1/2 pan. 6. Bake in pre - heated 180 o c (350oF) oven for 15 mins. 7. cool slightly. 8. Combine cream cheese,sugar,pumpkin,eggs,cinnamon, allspice,& vanillain large mixer bowl. 9. Blend until smooth. 10. Pout over baked crust. 11. Sprinkle with reserved topping. 12. Bake an additional 30 -35 mins. 13. Cool before cutting into bars. 14. MAKES 32 1 x 2 bars. |
