This is a really good cheese dip and is so appropriate for the season since it is made in a pie pumpkin. Ingredients:
1 pumpkin |
1 -2 cup grated monterey jack cheese |
1 -2 cup grated muenster cheese |
1 -2 cup pepper jack cheese |
16 ounces seasoned croutons |
1 -1 1/2 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Clean out pumpkin and save top. 2. Alternate layers of cheese and croutons until pumpkin is full (pack down as you go). 3. Pour milk over top. 4. Place top on pumpkin. 5. Bake 350 for 1 to 1/2 hours - it is done when the pumpkin can easily be pierced with a fork. 6. Serve with crackers or pita chips. |
