Wonderful moist pumpkin cake. Great with the frosting. Ingredients:
1 box of spice cake mix bake at 350 |
1 cup pumpkin (in the can) |
3 eggs |
1/4 cup butter - softened |
2/3 cup milk |
2 t. pumpkin spice |
Directions:
1. Mix together in a mixer until all is incorporated. Batter will be fluffy. 2. Pour into a well greased bundt pan and bake 40 min at 350 3. Frosting 4. Frosting 5. 1/2 cup butter 6. 1 cup brown sugar, packed 7. 1/4 cup milk 8. 2 cups powdered sugar - more or less 9. Hot water - optional 10. In a saucepan, melt the butter. 11. Add the brown sugar. 12. Bring to a boil and lower heat to medium low and continue to boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let cool down, then add powdered sugar. 13. Add hot milk if you like it as a glaze! |
