Spicey pumpkin bread that's good with breakfast, brunch, snacks, pot-lucks or any time. Pop a slice in the micro-wave for 20 seconds to enjoy it warm. Ingredients:
cream |
3 c sugar |
1 c oil |
4 eggs, beaten |
add and mix well |
1 large can pumpkin or 2 regular size |
mix the dry ingredients together and add alternately with water |
2/3 c water |
3 1/2 c plain flour |
2 t baking soda |
2 t salt (can leave out) |
1 t baking powder |
1 t nutmeg, allspice, ginger |
2 t cinnamon |
1/2 t cloves |
Directions:
1. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. 2. Bake 1/1/2 hours at 325 degrees. 3. Test for doneness. |
