Very moist and keeps well. I don't care for pumpkin and I love this one. Hope you do as well. Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups self rising flour, sifted |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
3 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
2 cups pumpkin |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon allspice |
1 cup oil |
2/3 cup water |
Directions:
1. Beat sugar and oil until well mixed. 2. Add eggs and beat for 2 minutes. 3. Add pumpkin and beat well. 4. Add flour and spices. 5. Add water and mix well. 6. Pour into well greased pans and bake at 350F for 1 hour. 7. Cool in pans for about 20 minutes Recipe makes 2 large loaf pans. |
