Best when hot. You can toast it later. Ingredients:
3 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
2 cups pumpkin |
1 cup oil |
3 1/3 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/8 teaspoon mace |
1/8 teaspoon allspice |
1/4 teaspoon ginger |
1 cup nuts, chopped |
1/3 cup water |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, eggs, pumpkin and oil, mix well. 2. In a separate bowl, combine the other dry ingredients, mix together then add slowly to the pumpkin mixture. 3. Add chopped nuts. 4. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans and fill pans. 5. Bake at 350 for 1 – 1-1/4 hours. |
