Another recipe from the 1980 version of the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church cookbook from Muir, Pennsylvania that was given to me by my Nana when I became an adult. This recipe was submitted to the cookbook by April Schaeffer.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
1 cup cooking oil
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pumpkin spice
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 1/2 cups flour
Directions:
1. Mix together the pumpkin, oil, eggs, sugar and salt and beat well.
2. Add remaining ingredients.
3. Place in two 9-inch loaf pans.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
