This is a pumpkin cake recipe with a sour cream frosting. It's delicious. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
2 eggs (beaten) |
2 cups flour |
1 cup cooking oil |
2 cups canned pumpkin (or cooked & mashed) |
1/2 cup butter |
3 ounces cream cheese |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Pumpkin Bar:. 2. Mix all the ingredients together. 3. Pour into 14 1/2 x 10 1/2 greased and floured pan. 4. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. 5. Frost. 6. Frosting: 7. cream butter and cream cheese together. 8. Add vanilla. 9. Gradually add powdered sugar until smooth. 10. Spread over bars. |
