Pumped-Up Smoothie contains plenty of iron and vitamin C, giving you a smoothie that helps you stay strong. Ingredients:
1 small banana |
1 small orange, peeled and segmented |
1 cup ice cubes |
1 tablespoon raw pumpkin seeds |
1 tablespoon agave nectar |
2 teaspoons ground flaxseed |
2 teaspoons hemp oil |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
hemp seeds and additional pumpkin seeds for garnish (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a blender, purée first 8 ingredients (through cloves) until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses and sprinkle with pumpkin and hemp seeds, if desired; serve immediately. 2. (Recipe adapted from Thrive by Brendan Brazier) |
