A yummie and easy chicken-dish I invented one day when I had nothing but a whole chicken in the fridge Ingredients:
1 chicken |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1/2 chicken stock cubes or 1/2 vegetable stock cube |
2 tablespoons tomato paste |
1 tablespoon white vinegar |
salt |
pepper |
soy sauce |
5 tablespoons sour cream |
1 tablespoon cream cheese |
1 tablespoon plain flour |
1/2 cup fresh herb (e.g. thyme, oregano, parsley) |
Directions:
1. Boil chicken in water (should be almost covered with water) until cooked. 2. Take chicken out of the water; let the water reduce down to about 1 cup. 3. Pull meat off the chicken and put it back in the water. 4. Add 1 cup cold water, paprika, stock cube, tomato paste, vinegar, salt pepper and soy. 5. Let simmer for 1/2h covered. 6. add 4tbs sour cream and cream cheese. 7. mix flour with a bit of cold water and add. 8. Simmer for 20min. 9. Add herbs and another tbs sour cream (or some pouring cream) just before serving. 10. Serve with rice. |
