Here's a recipe I got when I went to Hawaii - tri-tip steak is one of the newer cuts of beef, and is pretty tender. Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs tri-tip steak (or other tender steak) |
1/2 cup sea salt |
1 tablespoon crushed garlic |
1/2 tablespoon cracked peppercorn |
1 tablespoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine spices and rub into meat. 2. Let sit for 30 minutes. 3. Broil or grill the steaks, turning every 4 minutes. |
