A different way to prepare a Pecan Pie. Ingredients:
1 9 in. pie crust |
3/4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped |
1st layer |
1 egg |
5 oz. cream cheese |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 tsp. vanilla |
2nd layer |
4 eggs |
3/4 cup corn syrup |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 tsp. vanilla |
1/2 tsp. salt |
vanilla ice cream |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 2. Mix ingredients for first layer 3. Pour into unbaked pie shell 4. Top with pecans 5. Mix ingredients for second layer 6. Pour on top of pecans 7. Bake for 50 minutes 8. Let cool 9. Top with vanilla ice cream when serving |
