I found this on my great banana recipe search to use the abundance in my yard. Ingredients:
puff pastry (dough puff pastry) |
4 bananas, peeled and cut crosswise |
ice water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Make (or buy) puff pastry dough. Roll to 1/8 inch (or take out of freezer). 3. Cut into pieces that will wrap around the banana pieces. 4. Dip each piece in ice water and wrap around a banana half. 5. Place on silpat lined sheet. 6. Bake until puffed and golden. 7. Serve with a sauce of choice. Could be as simple as crushed stawberries with sugar or some lovely rum sauce you like. |
