My kids love these; they make a great snack or dessert. Ingredients:
2 cups sifted flour |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup milk |
1/4 cup cooking oil |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients together. 2. Stir in milk, oil, and egg. 3. With a fork beat ingredients until smooth. 4. Drop by teaspoons into hot oil heated to 375 degrees Fahreneheit. 5. Fry until golden brown. 6. Drain on paper towels. 7. These can be rolled in powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or eaten plain. 8. Can be served hot or cold. |
