These make a decorative presentation served sprinkled over soups, such as Cream of Garlic Soup with Root Vegetables, or sprinkled over a salad. These are so good, they make a great snack too! Use desired amounts. I put 8 servings, but this will vary according to how much pastry is used. Ingredients:
1 puff pastry sheet |
1/4 cup melted butter (more or less) |
sesame seeds (black or regular) |
Directions:
1. Cut small squares out of desired amount of pastry sheets. Brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with black sesame or regular sesame seeds. 2. Bake in a preheated 400*F. oven for 15 minutes until golden. Float in soup, sprinkle over a salad, or eat out of hand as a snack! Enjoy! |
