This is a very simple puff pastry recipe that I made one day and filled with a sweet potato curry Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 cup water |
dash of salt |
1 cup flour |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Bring butter, water and salt to a rolling boil. In seperate bowl, mix in 1 cup flour very well (by hand). 2. Breat in 1 egg at a time and beat well with a wooden spoon. Beat until eggs disapear. 3. Drop by spoonfulls 4. Bake at 400-425 until puffed and golden and they look dry, though the center will be soft. 5. For the sweet potato curry, I put about a teaspoon full in the center and covered the top with more pastry. |
