My mother always served this on CHristmas pudding. It is delicious served on waffles also Ingredients:
2 cups milk |
3 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 pinch salt |
1 egg |
3 -4 tablespoons sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix cornstarch with a little cold milk. 2. Beat in egg, sugar, salt and vanilla. 3. Heat milk in double boiler or microwave. 4. Add cornstarch mixture and continue to heat til thickened. |
