this creamy cake is fantastic! Ingredients:
vegetable cooking spray with flour |
1 (18 oz) box yellow cake mix |
3 tbs veg. oit |
1 cup water |
3 eggs |
1 (3.4 oz) pkg and 1 (5.1 oz) pkg vanilla instant pudding mix |
1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges undrained |
1 (20 oz ) can crushed pineapple drained and reserve liquid. |
1 (12 oz) whipped topping |
Directions:
1. preheat over to 350 2. spray 3 eight inch pie pans and flour 3. combine cake mix, oil, water, eggs and small pkg of pudding mix using an elecrtic mixer 4. mix for at least 5 min. batter will be smooth and thick.Fold in mandarin oranges including liquid. Make sure liquid is mixed well into the batter 5. Pour batter evenly into prepared cake pans 6. bake for 22-25 min or til cake tests done 7. let cool 8. fold whipped toppingwith crushed pineapple to prepare frosting. 9. stir in large pkg of pudding mix. Add reserved liquid if needed 10. refrigerate forsting for 15 min 11. spread between and over top and sides of cake layers 12. keep refrigerated |
