I am usually not a big fan of Chili but I love this Chili. I'm always being asked to make it for parties & cookouts. I usually make some and freeze it in either individual servings for for lunch or family size dinners. We love to top our bowls of Chili off with some Fritos, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and of course some Texas Pete. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs hot italian sausage, casing removed |
1 1/2 lbs stew meat, cubed small |
1 tablespoon celery salt |
1 garlic clove |
1 large sweet onion, chopped |
2 (3/4 ounce) packets chili seasoning mix |
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, drained |
1 (16 ounce) can navy beans, drained |
2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes (with roasted garlic) |
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste (with roasted garlic) |
2 (15 ounce) cans chicken broth |
Directions:
1. Crumble sausage into skillet with stew meat and onion. Over medium high heat partially cook. Place cooked meat into crock pot. Add remaining ingredients and mix together. 2. Cook- Low- 8 hours or High 4 hours. |
