This came from Obesity Help. I have not tried this, just posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar (use splenda brown sugar) |
1/2 cup applesauce |
1 cup peanut butter |
3 whole eggs or 3 egg whites |
1 cup flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
4 cups quick oats |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 cup chocolate chips (optional) or 1 cup m&ms plain chocolate candy (optional) |
3/4 cup raisins (optional) |
3/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional) or 3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional) |
Directions:
1. Cream together; brown sugar, applesauce, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla. 2. Blend in flour and baking soda. Blend in oats. 3. Add your choice of optional ingredients; nuts, chocolate, raisins, or all of the above. Mix well. 4. Drop by Tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or til lightly browned. 5. Let cool 2 or 3 minutes before removing from pan. |
