Granola bar from Better homes & Gardens cook book with protein powder added. Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanuts |
1/2 cup almonds |
1 cup walnuts |
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 egg |
1/3 cup honey |
1/3 cup olive oil |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
12 scoops 100% whey protein powder |
1 cup rolled oats |
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix whey protein in well. Add beaten egg, honey, olive oil, sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 cup water. Mix well till no dry powder left. Pour into 8x8x2 pan, bake at 325 for ~ 30 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Slice into bars. Could also pour into shallow pan & cook less time. |
