Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus On The Grill |

You would do this at the same time, it cooks pretty fast. Ingredients:
24 stalks asparagus |
8 slices of prosciutto (can use very thinly sliced ham too) |
tooth picks |
olive oil |
cracked pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut off the hard ends of asparagus and blanch spears in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until it turns bright green. Remove from boiling water and plunge into ice water to stop cooking. 2. Wrap a piece of prosciutto around 2-3 stalks of asparagus and Secure with tooth pick. 3. Spray the bundles lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with cracked pepper. 4. Get grill to 400*. Cook direct for about 10 minutes until prosciutto is crisp, flipping once to brown both sides. 5. (I use a vegetable grate to cook in) |
