Prosciutto is rolled up with lettuce, cheese and sliced for an easy appetizer. Ingredients:
3 slices prosciutto, thin |
4 baby romaine lettuce leaves, 1/2-inch wide, ribs removed |
5 oz. brie cheese, softened, rind removed |
dried thyme |
Directions:
1. On a large piece of plastic overlap 3 slices Prosciutto slightly making a rectangle. 2. Top with a single layer of lettuce. 3. Pipe or spread cheese on top, sprinkle with thyme. 4. Starting at the widest end roll tightly; cover and refrigerate. 5. They can be made 1 day ahead. 6. Remove plastic, cut into 1-inch slices, place upright on a platter and serve. |
