I misread a recipe, and this was the result. It was voted best pie in town and receives much praise when served. Ingredients:
1 9 unbaked pie shell |
2 eggs |
1 (19 ounce) can pumpkin pie filling |
1 (12 ounce) can condensed milk |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 355 degrees. 2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs. 3. Add the remaining ingredients and pour into shell. 4. Bake 50-60 min's until set. 5. Cool on counter for 1 hr, then refrigerate. 6. Top with Cool Whip. 7. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. |
