This is from a cookbook called The Back of the Box Gourmet. Ingredients:
1 cup tomato juice |
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats or 3/4 cup old fashioned oats, uncooked |
1 egg, beaten |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. 2. Combine all ingredients except ground beef, mix well. 3. Add ground beef, mix lightly but thoroughly. 4. Put into 8x4 inch loaf pan, and bake 1 hour. |
