1/2 cup salt |
1/4 cup water |
6 ripe lemons |
Directions:
1. Quarter lemons lengthwise and place in a sterilized 1 quart mason jar. Dissolve salt into water. Pour into jar, over lemons. 2. Let sit for 7 days at room temperature, until lemons become soft and brownish. Shake jar occasionally. 3. To store, add olive oil and refrigerate. 4. Lemons should last for months. |
