A pie that was made when Pecans were to expensive to use. Ingredients:
1 cup dark karo syrup |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup quick -cooking oatmeal |
1/2 cup butter,melted |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together,beat about 4 minutes. 2. Pour into a unbaked 9 pie shell. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until set. 4. Cool completely before cutting,serve with whipped cream,with a splash of brandy thrown in. |
