Tender chicken braises in minutes in Prego® Chunky Garden Mushroom and Green Pepper Italian Sauce to accompany hot pasta. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into cubes |
1 (25.75 ounce) jar prego® chunky garden mushroom & green pepper italian sauce |
8 ounces corkscrew-shaped pasta (rotini), cooked and drained |
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until it's well browned, stirring often. 2. Stir the sauce in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve the chicken mixture with the pasta. |
